Jennifer Nettles

Come on, shoulder pads! Georgia-born and raised country star Jennifer Nettles was already a budding musician in this prom portrait from the early ‘90s. A singer since she was four, she began her career as part of the Soul Miner’s Daughter before finding fame as half of the duo behind Sugarland in 2003.

Following her five-album stint with the country music act, the Unlove You singer went solo with her debut, That Girl, topping the country chart in 2014. Nettles released her latest album, Always Like New, a compilation of cover songs from Broadway musicals, in 2021.
