Isn’t Reese Witherspoon just the very image of a Southern belle in this photo of her at prom? Raised in Nashville, Tennessee, her acting aspirations began as a teen and took her to auditions even before she finished secondary school.

After starring in small TV roles, she got her big break in the late ‘90s with Cruel Intentions and further attained widespread recognition thanks to the Legally Blonde films in the early aughts. Still a certified blonde, she’s now among Hollywood’s most beloved stars. We last saw her in the 2020 streaming TV show Little Fires Everywhere.
