Though there are many endearing examples of teens recreating their parents’ looks from way back, this young girl has really stepped it up a notch. She is not only wearing her mother’s prom dress but is also posing in a similar manner to the pictures her mother took in the ’70s. That’s really cool, right? Her date deserves credit as well for going with it.

Although the ’70s were a time of “mod,” not every trend of the time survived into the following decades. This is one of the very few acceptable styles. Even though it’s a classic design, the garment could easily be purchased at a modern store.
