Ponies Take Over

There are many unique sights at the beach, apart from having a dip in the water and relaxing on the sand. One of such fascinating sights may be discovered on Assateague Island. The beach is known for its wild ponies, which draw visitors to the area.

The ponies roam the beach, but beachgoers are usually urged to stay at least 10 feet away from the animals to avoid being injured. Apart from the pony taking up all of these people’s space while they keep their distance, the one lying down is also intriguing; after all, horses are known to sleep standing up.
