What better way to decompress than by spending the day at the beach, swimming, boating, or sunbathing? If you were visiting this beach for the first time, you would be startled by how close the plane is to the land.

We understand if your initial thought was that this was photoshopped, but it’s not the case, thanks to the Princess Juliana Airport! The beach is just next to the runway of this airport in St. Maarten, even though it isn’t visible in the shot. This means that planes frequently take off and land just above the people on the beach.
