Selena Gomez rang in 2018 at Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. She is another celebrity who would rather not spend time in public spaces as the attention she receives is too much. To get away, she escaped to the beach for the new year’s weekend in 2017 with some of her best friends and their beaus. 

The vacation was a celebration of her sixth year of friendship with Raquelle Stevens, Ashley Cook, and Courtney Barry. They jetted off to the island and rented a villa together. On New Year’s Eve, they watched fireworks and were joined by Justin Bieber. Gomez looked to be in high spirits, and it seemed she needed a vacation after a long year.
