The Deer Takeover

How come this boy is completely oblivious to the fact that his sister is being mauled by a herd of deer just a few feet behind him? He seemed to be really pleased with his photograph, but we’re not so sure about his sister. Given the number of deer crowding her space, she appears to be getting it.

She’s probably holding something that’s appealing to the animals. The boy’s obliviousness combined with the small child’s precarious circumstances creates an epic picture that the girl will not find amusing now or in the future.
