Katarina Witt, figure skater – 9 million euros

Katarina Witt, who grew up in the GDR 55 years ago and who shaped life in the GDR just as much, is one of these icons that you can hardly imagine in the German celebrity world. Katarina was not known for music, but for sport, as she is probably the most successful German figure skater of all time. Katarina has twice participated in the Olympic Games and also won two gold medals – she has also participated in numerous world and European championships in figure skating.
