Zinedine Zidane and Veronique Zidane

Zinedine Zidane and his wife Véronique met in 1989, and 5 years later the two lovers said yes to the Town Hall of Bordeaux. Zizou was 17 and Véronique was 18. Zidane was playing for the Bordeaux team at that time and he was not yet the superb footballing legend that we know now. For the 1998 world champion, it is certain that he would not have accomplished everything he achieved if he had not had his wife by his side. Zidane has indeed marked not only the history of French and world football, but also that of the Real Madrid club, of which he became the successful coach.
