Born in 1941, Miriam Margolyes is an award-winning British-Australian actress best known for playing Mrs. Mingott in the 1993 movie “The Age of Innocence.” She is also popular among “Harry Potter” fans for bringing life to the character of Professor Sprout.
Margolyes has been overweight for a long time, which was always a cause of stress for her. She even did a documentary with BBC 2 named “Miriam’s Big Fat Adventure,” in which she disclosed her lifelong struggles with weight such as eating more than she needs.
