George W. Bush & Laura Bush – 44 Years

Featured in the 2021 documentary “9/11: Inside the President’s War Room,” George W. Bush served as the 43rd president of the United States not long after his father, George H. W. Bush, the 41st president of the United States. His first lady was the American teacher/author Laura Bush, his wife since 1977.

George and Laura met at a barbecue party and were introduced by a mutual friend. Just a few months after first laying eyes on one another, the two lovebirds exchanged vows. Truly a love-at-first-sight type of story, George onde said marrying Laura was the “best decision” of his life.
