Buzz Aldrin: $12 Million

Buzz Aldrin is the last surviving member of the legendary Apollo 11 space crew, the first to land on the moon on July 20, 1969. He is the second man to walk on the moon, but he was the first person to perform a religious ceremony there.

While respect as an astronaut gave him a profile, most of his net worth was made by books he has authored or co-authored. He’s also made cameos in films and TV shows, and did voice work for the video game Mass Effect. He is also currently filming The Globe Movie, a project he is starring in opposite Neil deGrasse Tyson.
