Mel Brooks – Age 97
Mel Brooks is a living legend, a man who is one of the first world-famous actors/comedians. He was born in 1926, and his career kicked off in 1949 when he was a writer for Your Show of Shows, working alongside such names as Woody Allen, Larry Gelbart, and Neil Simon.
He quickly turned to directing, producing, acting, and even composing, and by his middle age, Brooks was one of the most successful filmmakers in the world (in the ’70s). He is known for Blazing Saddles, History of the World parts I, Spaceballs, and many more. Recently, we could hear his voice in the Hotel Transylvania movies, as Vlad.
