Lulu – Age 72

If you like the intro of the 1974 James Bond movie The Man With the Golden Gun, you have Lulu to think for. She composed the movie’s title song, one of her many hit tunes. She’s also known for the hits “To Sir With Love” and “Boom Bang-a-Bang,” and the latter made it to the Eurovision Song Contest.

At the age of 72, the beautiful Lulu (whose real name is Marie Lawry) is still very active in the music business, and she cannot wait to get back to the stage. It looks like she’s lucky: in 2021, it was announced Lulu and Kaiser Chiefs are going to headline the upcoming Sunderland Lamplight Festival.
