José Mayer – Age 71

José Mayer was born in 1949, in Brazil, and it is through Brazilian television that he gained his initial recognition. He appeared in telenovelas like Carga Pasada and movies like Banditos da Falange, Perfume de Gardenia, O Pagador de Promessas, and more.

His international fame comes through telenovelas popular in many different countries, like Historia de Amor (The History of Love), A Favorita (The Favorite), Mulheres Apaixonadas (Women in Love), Laços de Familia (Family Ties), and others. Mayer’s most recent role was in A Lei do Amor (Wounded Past) TV show in 2017.
