Hal Holbrook – Age 95
Hal Holbrook is a world-famous actor, born in 1925, in Ohio, US. Before he got into the arts, he served in World War II in the US Army and has reached the staff sergeant rank before being dismissed. He was stationed in Newfoundland, where he reportedly performed plays and theater productions.
Now, audiences today know Holbrook best as Mark Twain’s character, from the one-person stage show Mark Twain Tonight!. Holbrook developed the character himself, and it has earned him many accolades. He has won five Primetime Emmys, a Tony Award, and the National Humanities Medal. On camera, he was most recently seen in an episode of Grey’s Anatomy in 2017.
