Marla Gibbs – Age 89

Marla Gibbs was born in 1931. She is an actress, singer, comedian, writer, and even a producer. Her first appearances on the screen were in the early ’70s, in Black Belt Jones, Sweet Jesus, and Preacher Man, but she gained prominence in The Jeffersons, a top-rated comedy show on CBS aired from 1975 to 1985.

After that, Gibbs was in 227, where she stayed until 1990. She was the voice of the Duchess in 101 Dalmatians: The Series and was in The Hughleys, Passions, The First Family, and more. In recent years, Gibbs was in episodes of One Day at a Time and The Last O.G., both in 2020.
