Anthony Hopkins – Age 83

Undoubtedly one of the greatest actors in the history of the seventh art is Sir Philip Anthony Hopkins. He is from Wales and is related to William Butler Yeats, the late famous Irish poet. Hopkins was born in 1937, and his career began in 1960.

He achieved recognition already in the ’60s for his role in The Lion in Winter and continued his success in the decades to come. We best know him for The Silence of the Lambs, which won him an Oscar, The Elephant Man, Bram Stoker’s Dracula (from 1992), and he also played Odin in several of the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies.
