DEBORAH KERR – FROM HERE TO ETERNITY, 1953

Six-time Academy Award nominee Deborah Kerr will forever be remembered for her oozing beauty and impeccable grace. She made her debut in 1943, starring in the film “The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp.” One of her notable performances was in the 1953 romantic war movie “From Here to Eternity,” based on James Jones’ 1951 novel of the same title.

Kerr portrayed Karen Holmes in the film co-starring Frank Sinatra. In this scene, the “Tea and Sympathy” actress was in the Army barracks in Hawaii during the attack on Pearl Harbor. Kerr rocked a vintage mini-dress as she held her set-lover, Sinatra, wearing swimming trunks.
