With two songs that topped the UK charts, ‘Walkin’ Back to Happiness’ and ‘You Don’t Know’ singer Helen Shapiro stunned everyone with her voice, and she was just 14 when she recorded those songs. Both songs sold more than a million copies in the 60s!

When she was younger, Helen became an overnight sensation because of her mature voice, and she really owned it as she grew up. From the 80s onwards, her career as a teen pop singer had waned and she was doing more movies, theatre productions and musicals.
