The British subway and its natives preserve the value of urban solitude, and it is even reminded during subway trips. British people aren’t so comfortable conversing with strangers, they prefer minding their own businesses, and we respect that.

For someone who doesn’t like feeling alone because of this note, we suggest using the time to reflect, rest our minds, and generally observe respect for what the culture promotes. But wait! This sign is actually fake, and it’s been one of those stickers that funny and bored Londoners put on the street. We were serious with that notion, with or without an official note.
