Whenever life throws oranges at you, making the most of them is wise. Opportunities don’t come around often; when they do, making the most of them is essential. On a recent rainy day, a group of people came across a flooded highway, presenting them with a perfect opportunity to have fun.

Taking a cue from the early surfing references in Polynesia, they decided to make the most of the situation by surfing the flooding waters. This showed that it is possible to make something out of nothing, even in the toughest times. And perhaps it’s safe to say that Southerners know this too.
