These qualities are some of the reasons, aside from its historic sites, that Spain is the second-highest tourist attraction after France, with nearly 83 million visitors.

While Spain is the second-largest country in Europe, it also has the second most native speakers and is spoken in at least 22 countries. The country is also particular about wine, as hundreds of hectares of land are dedicated to wine production.
