Thailand
Thailand, as one of the Buddhist capitals and the birthplace of Muay Thai, has some of the most ancient histories concerning Buddhism and similar traditional practices. The country, formerly known as Siam, is credited with giving rise to the Siamese cat. It also has stunningly beautiful women, whose charms are only matched by exotic flowers like the orchid, Thailand’s national flower.
Thailand, which has a robust monarchical system, is the only Southeast Asian country that has never been colonized by a European country. With laws in place that frown on derogatory conversations about the government, its monarchy is treated with reverence.
