Family skirmishes exist not only in the lives of common people but of celebrities as well. If nothing, the Spears family is the best example. If you have been following any of the Spears family members on social media, you can tell something is always going on in their household. After all, those rolling-eye emojis and condescending comments on social media posts say it all. Apart from Brit’s siblings and husband, her mom – Lynn Spears, 67 – also throws taunting comments on her daughter’s Instagram posts every now and again. On top of that, Britney Spears just got her conservatorship from her father after a long and drawn out battle in court.
At Briney Spears’ daughter’s wedding in mid-2022, where she herself was was not invited, her mother was spotted during the proceedings and since the family skirmish had caught the eyes of social media, reporters took this as an opportunity to ask Brit’s mom about her daughter. As expected, the reporters asked a lot of questions ranging from Brit’s conservatorship, her new marriage, and of course the social media comments. Dressed in lavish all-white attire, the 67-year-old remained mum and refrained to respond to the major questions.
Widely shared on social media platforms, the five-minute-long video shows Lynn Spears dressed in a trendy outfit, avoiding questions from the reporters. Nevertheless, after remaining tight-lipped on most of the questions, she can be heard saying: “I just want her (Britney Spears) to be happy. That is all.” One reporter can also be heard asking Lynn Spears if there are any possibilities of ‘reconciliation’ between the estranged Spears family members. Occupied on her phone, the 67 years old gives no response to that question either.

Nonetheless, the life of the Toxic singer is not as smooth as it appears on social media. For example, her father, Jamie Spears, has submitted a lawsuit against Brit accusing her of running “propaganda against him on social media.”
Similarly, Brit also shared on her Instagram account – where she has 46 million followers – that she never had a ‘good relationship’ with her brother, Bryan Spears. Her mom, Lynn Spears, is also no exception. On one of her posts, Lynn commented “Are you kidding me?” with rolling eyes emojis.
