At the time of his death, Kobe Bryant was worth $600 million. He was the NBA’s highest-paid player for six seasons running, eventually earning over $30 million a year. Bryant also had various endorsements deals with Nike, Mercedes, and Sprite, among others. He had various business dealings, including investment in sports drink, Body Armour.

Bryant spent his entire 20-year career with the LA Lakers, winning five NBA championships and making the NBA All Star team 18 times. He tragically died, with his daughter, on 26 January 2020 after a helicopter they were on crashed. His legacy continues through his various charities, such as the Kobe and Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation, that works to improve the lives of young people and their families.
