The release of the much-anticipated 2022 series “Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty” makes for the perfect opportunity to look back at the outstanding career of the great Larry Bird. Portrayed by Sean Patrick Small on the small screen, Bird is a three-time NBA champion, three-time NBA MVP, and 12-time NBA All-Star.

Bird married his first wife, Janet Condra, in 1975. They had one daughter together. In 1989, he tied the knot with Dinah Mattingly, who’s remained his faithful companion ever since. Bird and Mattingly have two adopted children together.
