The former soccer player was certainly not one of the low earners during his active career. The annual salary at the beginning of his career at Bayern is said to have amounted to 1.5 million marks. But even after his professional career, he was able to increase his fortune through profitable additional income: Mehmet Scholl is a brand ambassador for the well-known car brand Dacia and worked for many years as a TV expert for ARD at numerous football events such as international matches and the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. According to information, his salary as a sports commentator and presenter amounted to 250,000 euros per year. He is also the founder and managing director of the Munich record label Millaphon Records. All these additional earnings lead to an estimated fortune of around 38 million euros.
