Rachel McAdams started working in Canadian film production after her graduation in 2001. She made her debut in Hollywood in 2003, where she starred in the comedy film “The Hot Chick.” The “State of Play” starlet rose to international stardom after her magnificent performance in the 2004 romantic film “The Notebook.”

The movie was drawn from a 1996 novel by Nicholas Sparks with a similar title. McAdams co-starred with actor Ryan Gosling in the film, with whom they shared a forbidden love life as a young couple in the ‘40s. On this day, they enjoyed their romantic moment on the shores as the “About Time” actress rocked a beautiful maroon checked bikini and a matching headwrap.

VIRGINIE LEDOYEN – THE BEACH, 2000

Virginie Ledoyen broke out in 1995 after appearing in the film “A Single Girl,” and since then she’s appeared in endless hit movies. The French-born actress has not only won fans’ hearts with her adorable complexion but also with her acting skills. She rose to international popularity in 2000, playing Françoise in the film “The Beach.”

The movie hailed from a 1996 novel by Alex Garland of the same name. Although the film drew mixed reactions from fans, Ledoyen did justice to her character. It was filmed on the Thai island of Ko Phi Phi Le, where this shot was taken as she rocked a lovely two-piece blue bikini.
