Richard Simmons – Age 74
When it comes to fitness instructors, Richard Simmons is probably an example to follow. He started making a name for himself with his Sweatin’ to the Oldies video cassette series and with his Beverly Hills gym, the Slimmons, in the ‘70s and ‘80s. Nowadays, however, he’s living almost incognito in the comfort of his $6-million home.
He’s 72 at the moment and decided to withdraw himself from the limelight in 2014. Despite his hiatus, in 2020, he started uploading some archival exercise videos of his on his YouTube channel during the lockdown, hoping to help people stay active while at home. He should be worth around $20 million right now.
