EMILY MAITLIS & MARK GWYNNE – MARRIED FOR 21 YEARS

Emily Maitlis will always remember her time working in Hong Kong because that was when she met the man she has now been married to for more than two decades, Mark Gwynne.

Their story is amazing because, unlike what we are used to, she took matters into her own hands and proposed to him during their holiday in Mauritius. The couple eventually got married in 2001 and now has two kids together. Maitlis is a journalist fluent in five languages, including English. However, her career as a newsreader for the BBC ended in 2021
